Death of the Rose How do I say what needs to be said if my tongue won’t move regardless of the voice in my head The yellow rose knows but is throatless or refuses to speak in spite of it’s mess A tear on each petal the rose weeps in stupidity it will die soon unable to fight the endless humidity I turn away from a looking glass A reflection I don’t want to see This hurtful person When did it become me? Marina you made me think about how sometimes we have to be strong and assertive and in the process someone may get hurt but it is something we must do or much more hurt and pain will come later. James |

James that is a very interesting thought. I love how people can see so many different things in one poem. Thanks for the post. Marina |

Marina, though the petals fall, the seeds remain, to be brought to life again by the gentle rain to bloom again in the dawn of the new day and to take all the tears and sadness away. . . You will bloom again, my friend. . .wonderful poem. . . ------------------------------------------------------ That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Danny, don't worry I'll be back to myself in no time. As a matter of fact check back to my adult poem....I left you a little something. Amy, You are truly very sweet to say such a wonderful compliment about my poetry. Thank you so very much. weaubleau, thank you Sven...you are a true friend. Your little poetic response was just what I needed! Marina |
