This poem is dedicated to my best friends daughter You were born just yesterday They counted your fingers and toes They fell in love with your beautiful eyes And your perfect little nose They've waited for this moment, oh, so long And now that you're finally here They want you to know they'll always love you Little Casey Lynn Sweet little Casey Lynn Your mommy and daddy love you And I know that for you There's nothing they wouldn't do So if you happen to catch them staring At you now and then Just remember you light up their lives Little Casey Lynn |

This is so sweet and sentimental. What a feeling to be a new parent, and you've put it into just the right words. ~ Claire |
