If my love was the sun You would never know night I’d chase away the shadows Bathe you in my light I’d wrap you in my beams And cast a gentle glow Love shining upon you Darkness you’ll never know I’d warm you in the cold Shining down with my rays I’ll love you endlessly For all of your days ~for my children, the lights of my life~ |

Tara, this is beautiful. Spoken from a mother's heart and how we want to shelter our children. |

Tara: As I read this I hear the passion that flows from you every time you talk of your boys. Such a wonderful expression of love. Love is warmth and light How great for them to know that you will shine for them always. Shawn Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace with yourself. --Amelia Earhart |

Thank you all for your comments. My children never cease to inspire me. Shawn, thank you. I only hope my children grow always knowing how much they mean to me. It matters not how strait the gate; How charged with punishments the scroll; I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. --W.E. Henley |

The beauty you portray You do with words as well as colours gay Such poem you have created here My thanks so much Sincere< !signature--> The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. I see new people have racked up more posts them myself! Oh well, that just means my life is busy now. That is why I haven't been around much all. But anyway, Tara, there is no bond stronger then a mother's love. I know from being on the recieving end, you from the giving.
