Pearl moon turn your gaze on me from yon deep darkness of your sea. Please gild my grief with silver here, while spills my seasoned lonely tear. ~ ~ ~ Pearl moon lost within a cloud. Where have you gone? I cry aloud. Oh peek through shadows dark and lone, and pull my lost one safely home. ~ ~ ~ Pearl moon’s glow - a gleam so free... from your wide sky, shine yet on me. For your enchantment could impart sweet comfort to this sorrowed heart. |

Lovely poem! But very emotional. I especially liked your first line... "Pearl moon turn your gaze on me from yon deep darkness of your sea." Thank you for posting! I enjoyed it very much |

You speak of sorrow of the heart with the beauty of the poet. May the Pearl Moon shine down on you tonight. |

I love this one. Excellent Rosemary, truly excellent. I am going to send it as a ecard. Great post! The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship." --Ralph Waldo Emerson |

Dearest, That's what we get for staying in those rainy cloudy states for so long, now what I like is the snowflaked crystal moon hanging low through the hoarfrosted golden wheat sending out electrical surges and tingling freezing feet. WOW, what a sight. Oh yea... did that Pearl ever gaze on thee..? |

Dawn Eclipse - thank you for your appreciative words! tracie66 - you're so sweet - but the sorrow is all over now. It's just that a person never really forgets, and sometimes it appears out of the blue in verse. Mike - I really appreciate your comments and kind wishes! dhuron - I am very honored that you thought enough of this, to send it as an e-card! Elizabeth Santos - your reply is always a thrill - your poetry and comments always mean a great deal to me. Janet Marie - what deep and dear things you say! mariee66 - thank you so much! lucky - what can I say, my unique and darling husband, for your love is what saved me from that long ago tale of woe! |
