Love is everywhere Everytime I look into my baby's eyes I see the ocean...I see blue skies. Don't really know how they got in there but I'm glad she has so much love to share. Oceans deep and oceans wide freely flowing with the tide. So many oceans of love inside everytime I look into my baby's eyes. Oh how I love the love she shares I look around it's everywhere. A fresh morning dew love flowing through everytime I look into the blue skies of my baby's eyes. Her glowing sunshine so warm and bright always leading to romantic moonlit nights. Oops... sorry James. But hey... the great thing about poetry and art is what it means to the person reading it right? =) "The storm rises up when the shadows descend every beat of my heart every day without end I will stand like a rock I will bend till I break till theres no more to give if thats what it takes I will risk everything I will fight I will bleed I will lay down my life if thats what you need every second I live thats the promise I make" I have no idea who wrote this... tell me if you know. =) |

i followed whitenite in the child side of the poem, but after rereading it, i loved the companion side, too. it's funny how a single poem can have such different meanings! great job. |

Thank you Jeffrey, WhiteNite, weaubleau, pen of passion, Marina, and Celtic. I never thought of this poem as it was a father writing about his baby until WhiteNite mentioned it..and when I reread it I was able to see that it could be read that way..but I would have to leave the line out..always leading to romantic moonlit nights. I believe Lena is very special. I cannot count the number of women on two hands that when I first met them I had a feeling that they would be someone special in my life...she is one of those...I can only hope my feelings and my hopes become my reality and my life. James |
