If I could have had a womb with a view, A small, tiny window that I could look through To get a wee glimpse of the world I would know Would I be excited or not want to go? If I had a preview of what lay in store The moment one passes through Life's opened door Would I be content to be pulled out with pride Or consider it best to have just stayed inside? Would I have come willing, so eager to see The wonderful world waiting out there for me Or would every soul in the ward hear me shout "Forget it, you people! I ain't coming out!!!" |

Balladeer~ You are just so clever. Where on earth did this one come from? Welcome, sir. We reserved you a womb with a view. You can look out and decide what to do. To boldly go where others have gone or stay here and enjoy it all alone. It's fitted with amenities galore You will enjoy it that's for sure. Your own private pool where you can wait before deciding your very own fate. If you like the view out the window you see, we'll arrange a special delivery. The men in white coats will take you away If you like what you see, you won't have to stay. But just remember as you exit this womb There's no coming back whenever there's gloom. You're stuck with the choice should you go There's no coming back ... don't ya' know. Oh, yes, there's one other thing. Which credit card will you be charging? Love ya' ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

When I first saw the title, I thought of Elmer Fudd. I see now that you did mean "womb" I like this one! Marie~ |
