Sometimes Sometimes it's not enough.... a cloudless sky on a moonlit night awaiting the arrival of a flawless sunrise. Sometimes it isn't enough a springtime shower on a desert bloom parched from the heat of a prolonged drought. Sometimes it is not enough to say I'm sorry for a deed undone as an afterthought becomes the guilt of omission. Robert if you can dream; you can fly...if you are flying; you are dreaming. |

Another thoughtful piece, Robert. I like the way you described your "sometimes" in this poem, with the last line landing soundly at the reader's feet. I enjoyed this! Claire |

You've made me re-think some issues that are currently playing out in my life. That is what the art of poetry is for, I believe. And you, sir, are an artist. |

RobertB- You are truly genius with your thought process. What a perceptive look at a deed undone. I enjoy your writing very much. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Excellent thoughts, Robert. Sometimes we try to make up for too much with too little and it's just not enough.....or something like that. |

Thanks all of you...this poem came from a life experience where I did not act when I should have. I looked the other way when I should have been paying attention. Robert |
