Then… In all the things I do in a day At the end of it all, I’m lying in bed Then… I think to myself? Have I done all I have set out to do? Yes…. I have loved you well As I have loved no other There is nothing more important to me Than the moments I share with you Then… I think to myself? Have I done all I have set out to do? Yes… I have loved you complete As I have loved no other My life with you has just begun anew And I believe that this is meant to be Then… I think to myself? Have I done all I have set out to do? Yes… I have loved you unconditional As I have loved no other At the end of my life when my time has passed And you take my hand and kiss me goodbye Then… I will think to myself? Have I done all I have set out to do? No… I have not loved you long enough As I will love you forever You are my life Dean Forever yours Cher |
