For Eddie (EagleOne) **************** FOR YOU MY FRIEND The people that you meet throughout your life Are many and varied Some leave you with an never-ending joy Some with sadness and sorrow And others leave you with an ever-lasting smile You, my friend are one of these people With your warm words and heartfelt goodness You encourage me, and believe in me And have told me that you care Thank you for your honesty You have a beautiful soul And I am proud to call you my friend Roniece Dawson-Bruce |

Roniece...You have touched me deeply with your words, brought a tear to my eye! Your words are very much appreciated, as is your friendship. To be able to make someone smile is the most wonderful of gifts, I am glad I can do that for you. P.S. We will meet, very soon now.. |

None of us have enough friends like this. "You encourage me and believe in me" what better words could be spoken of a true friend. Nicely written. |

This is a beautiful and well written poem. It is so wonderful to have such a close friends, particulary one of the opposite sex. Your poem reminds me of the one I posted earlier this week about my friend. I really enjoyed it. Marina |

boy did I identify with this one!! I loved it! loved it! I also have a friend whom I have not met, but the closeness, and the sharing and understanding, none can match it! Yes, it's true, some discard us as if we were not important when we fail to live up to their expectations, but the true friends are there always....through the good days and the bad never giving up.
