Before me I see a man His heart is bigger than all the land It radiates warmth and love Gentle like the wings of a dove His voice is sweet and soft To heaven it's song will be loft It found a way into my heart And from there never will it part His heart is one with mine With true love that is the sign To him I give mind, body, and soul All that I am to make him whole For my heart holds the missing piece That will give his pain sweet release His smile lights up this room And frees me from impending doom His love is all that I ask I need it to complete the task That is now at hand See the writing in the sand This is my hopeful vision Making it reality is my mission My heart will not stop Until from it the last blood does drop Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Terry...thank you for the nice comments. I will not stop. Have to keep trying at least. Glad to hear you are that way also.  Slashed soul...thanks. Yes, they are my feelings and the chase is on!!! Cheryl...thank you and yes it does. Sometimes it amazes me how well it transfers onto paper. PDV...yes, I did and he thought it was very nice also. Butterflies....thank you so much for the kind words!!! Yes, I do write from within be it pain or love or whatever. My feelings have always ran deep within. Glad you liked it!!
