Passionate Kisses

The world is spinning fast it seems
There’s barely time to smile
But kindly take a moment
For a kiss once in a while

I feel my brain’s on overload
This stress will wear and tear
But I’ll survive with lovely
Passionate kisses here and there

You work too much, you come home late
A rat race without end
But I don’t mind if you’ll afford
Passionate kisses now and then

There’s nothing like a passionate kiss
It somehow clears the air
It breakes the ice, it soothes the soul
And leads from here to there

It’s so much better there than here
On this we both agree
Let’s fly there with one passionate kiss
And set our spirits free

Let’s take a lover’s holiday
To a place of endless bliss
The trip is free, the only fare
Is just one passionate kiss

You have revealed that a passionate kiss is the key to endless bliss.  Didn't know a kiss could be so powerful.  Women of the world beware. (smiling)
Elizabeth, this is a nice poem. Another beautiful poem from a true poet.

And paid my fare.

I agree Elizabeth. I like the idea of the only fare for a wonderful trip being a kiss..it's something everyone can afford...and it sounds like a good idea to me!

Elizabeth,
It is so true that we often forget that we spend way too much time working and running to and fro, when the best things in life cannot be bought, regardless of how much we work or how much we make.   Lovely poem!
