I'm nobody really
I'm just a man
A man with the heart of a poet
Gentle and loving
A man with the voice of an angel
Open and accepting

My life has always been an open door
When I thought I had given all, I gave more
This is my calling, to pierce the darkness with light
To be a help to others, giving them strength to fight

I've always been this way
A gentle spirit
A man who wears his heart on his sleeve
Caring and helping
A man who has borne much on his shoulders
Supporting and encouraging

My life has always been an open book
And, just for a moment, I'd thought I'd let you take a look
To look and see where begin the words that come from my pen
A better look into the heart and mind of one they call "Sven"!

Sven~
NOBODY ?
NOBODY ?
I don't think so !
You are 'thumbody' and your gentle
loving spirit comes through each poem
you grace us with.

We've seen your heart.
It beats with loving poetry for friends.

Great Poem. It reminds me that there still are some truly good people out there.

Sven,
Do not sell yourself short my friend.  You are definitely not a nobody.  You are a very special man and I am sure that shines through in all you do.  This is a wonderful glimpse into your heart....thank you for letting me look.

Anyone who works at helping others for nothing in return is not only a somebody, but much more in my eyes. Great work, on the poem and in life

Do you live by the book, do you play by the rules
Do you care what is thought by others about you
If this day is all that is promised to you
Do you live for the present, the future the past...
