Am I Being Heard?

I feel as a puppet
With some master pulling strings
I have no choice in the matter
He makes me do everything

My voice is small
And one of many countless
There is no knowledge
Of how I can surmount this

My actions are wasted
Tugging at the cords that bind
Dancing to another’s tune
Of music that should be mine

If I shout aloud in a forest
Will I be heard?
Speaking out in this way,
Am I even being heard?

Sometimes we do feel like that, I'm sure we all have from time to time. Great poem, JML!

Such questioning I think we've all experienced, at some point. You've clearly expressed the frustration of feeling a loss of control. (and you're being heard, doc)
