Sad smiles, Happy frowns. Can we live a life, Complete in lies, Pretending to be, Whatever we're not. We smile when we are sad, To protect those around us, To protect ourselves. We frown when we are happy, To show support for those, For those that smile because they are sad. Big houses, Fancy cars, Butlers, Maids, Eletist attitude. No house, No car, Alone, Without soul, Worthless attitude. Why must we all pretend, Pretend to be happy, When we are sad. Pretend to be sad, When we are happy. One day we will all walk away, We will cease, And we will walk away. Death is not a tragedy, It is merely a time to celebrate life. [This message has been edited by Jone (edited 03-23-2000).] |

Yes, sometimes we seem to be walking paradoxes. Well said, Jone. Elizabeth "He have his goodness now. God forbid I take it from him!" -The Crucible |
