and stroke the fire's blaze.
Just hold me close-
let me pretend
you feel the love
that I can't see.
Run lazy fingers
through my hair
and let me fall
in to fast sleep
to dream in colour
of the most requited love
inside your warm.
Let me wake
to morning rain
and only then
shall be the time
that I will let you go.

to find that strength
to turn my back
while you walk away from me
forever.

So true..but in the meantime you can write beautiful poetry about your hopes and dreams. I liked the smooth softness of this. James

A lovely poem! If this is real life.....take the lead. Don't be passive. The best way to deal with change is to help creat it.

There is nothing worse then loving someone who doesn't love you! I feel for you I know the feeling. A beautiful poem.
