THIS DREAM

I sit and cry a silent tear,
Longing for you to hold me near.
I wish I could just fly to you,
To somehow make this dream come true.
Your voice whispers soft in my ears,
As all the world disappears.
I dance with you ‘neath the night sky,
You wipe the tear from my eye.

I wish that I could find a way,
To pull you near if just to say...
These words that linger on my lips,
Feel passion with these fingertips,
By a glazed stare upon my eye,
Within your kiss, one breathless sigh,
In my grasp what I hold now true...
The dream in heart I share with you.

Michael

Michael, there seem to be many facets to you.
A complex man, yes?

This is especially soft and sensuous.

hey walt, good to hear from you bud - it's been awhile.  Me thinks "we" should collaborate on a poem of our own since you've been venturing into that realm lately.  LMK what you think.

devina - **twiddling thumbs**

serenity - you're welcome to listen in anytime.

A Romantic Heart, the right muse makes all the differance in the world me thinks.

james, yeah that part of me is there - just been dormant for awhile.

Marge, Indeed, it feels good to shake off some of that frost....

Corinne, complex would be a mild understatement me thinks...

Lone Wolf, that I never will.

Thank you all for the kind replies.

Michael, Another romantic deep feeling poem, something must be in the water. I've missed much not reading all the poems. This one is a gem.

Michael, what a magnificent gift of expression you have - and what a loving heart.  You have a lucky lady, there!
