In the space between moments

When night pierces like the raven's eye,
I'll be the light embracing you.
When you weary heart wants only to die,
I'll be the hope to guide you through.

When fragile tears burst through your soul,
You can cry within my arms.
When you fear life and wish to sink below,
Let me keep you safe from harm.

When your long lost dreams are found,
I'll be there to share your desire.
And when your wings cannot leave the ground,
Our hearts will combine to create the fire.

When the world seems cold and out of touch,
With my love, warmth I will bring.
And when it seems that nothing matters much,
I will strive to be your everything.

Beautiful poem Krista. Such wonderful sentiment you have in there. I'm really happy for you two. It's a great sight to see people so closely bonded.
