Smiles are Saturday afternoon on a sunny, sandy shore. Whispers are the soft Sundays for which we wish for more. Yawns are Monday mornings, new and somehow old. Tears are restless Tuesday nights when weary souls grow cold. Concern for self is Wednesday's dawn when faith lies just ahead. Heavy sighs are Thursday eve, a release of long-known dread. Hugs are hopeful Friday nights, soon we can let go. Laughter is the long week's end that finally lets us grow. call it PERFECT!! lovely, simple and sweet "ponderings" very nice, take care jm Now for me some words come easy But I know that they don't mean that much Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch You never knew what I loved in you I don't know what you loved in me Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be jackson browne |

ChristiesHeart~ This is very well done. I like the thought behind each day. Hmmmmm ! How about calling it 'Calendar Of Events' ? Or perhaps 'Marking Time' No ... wait ! 'Seven' Now that's a title that would draw me in ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

It's an excellent poem. How about "Weekenings"? |

Janet Marie. You're feedback is always too nice. Thanks so much. By the way "perfect" is an idea I have been spinning in my brain for a totally different poem. Maybe soon. Marge...Thank you for the response. I like "Seven" and the way it connects. It is a title that will jump out at people...however it makes me think of that wacky movie with the wacky ending a few years ago..talk about something jumping out..or making you jump! Rainbow Girl...Thank you very much... Balladeer...I really like that idea. Thanks!! Grant that I may not judge my niegbor until I have walked a mile in his moccasians Native American prayer |
