A sweet Irish lassie named Erin
Had features quite perfectly flawless.
Men would hide out of sight
'Neath her window at night
For a chance to see Erin go bra-less!

My mouse jumps like a real acrobat
Flying over my screen like a bat
It behaved like a pup
I got really fed up
So I fed it to one of my cats

LOL couldn't help myself : ) Loved your limerck Balladeer !

There once was a poet so dear
Who wrote 'bout love and fear
So smoothly his rhyme
Penned time after time
Now he's called Balladeer!

Since claimed laureate of "O" six
whose poetry's good for a fix
the products of his keys
seem to flow off with ease
what a mold to come out of the mix =)

I dropped my limerick
in the garbage disposal
and now it's all chewed up
and I can't find
where I put the other...

Can I borrow yours??

There once was a pretty young lassie
Who had a remarkable chassie
But poor Balladeer
When Toerag was near
The lassie found Toerag more classie

Only kidding. I love you both.

I have a mouth that's big and wide
it needs a switch for override
if I stopped to think at all
surely it would save a fall
now I've thought, my grin has style
I can't switch off this damn big smile

one line too many but I always did have too much to say...LOL

I love the way I look in your eyes, I'm just me tho'...

Our own dapper poet, Balladeer,
wraps words, soft as smiles, ear to ear
though on occasion, he'll falter,
when his eyes spy a halter
but at least his leer is sincere

Claire

There once was a man with white hair
Who's verse was far from compare
He needed no fame
His friends knew his name
With them all his love he did share.

Nice work Mike..(though knowing you it did have to be a bra-less limerick...lol)

Remember, now , you didn't ask for GOOD limerick writers...

A poet by name of Balladeer
wrote verse sweet t'me Irish ears,
I applauded with glee,
'til it dawned on me,
there was no reply posted here!

{serenity exits, sheepishly...)

Denise and Pepper...thank you both and a wonder St. Paddys day to ya!

Lorelei....the mind boggles at the thought

Munda....Too cute! I love it!

DeVine one...Awwww. You're sweet! Thank you.

Kevin...Let me understand this. I'm moldy?!?!
        ROFL! Thanks, pal.

Martie...you have written the first free verse limeric. I love it!

Elizabeth...There's only one Lassie that would find Toe more appealing. Had its own tv show in the 60's and came running whenever Tommy called its name.

Rainbow...Your mouth is sweet, fine and just perfect, if you ask me. Don't change a thing

Claire...At last! Someone who recognizes that I have a sincere leer! Thank you!!!!!

Dovey...thank you and also for the St. Paddys Day gretting you sent

Marilyn....what can I say?. Limericks always did bring out the breast in me!

Serenity...with your talent, you need never be sheepish! Thank you

There was a lad very striking
To whom all the ladies took a liking
With his brown hair quite a mess
He woke next to dear old Bess
Guess all that ale made her look quite inviting.
