I know there are times
When the weight of responsibility
Drags you down sometimes
And it seems like such a crime
That I want you to love me

If you needed me to carry you
To help with the burden
There’s nothing I wouldn’t do
Because I am hurting too
Whenever you are hurting

And I want you to realize
That whatever you’re thinking of
I can see it in your eyes
I don’t want affection to die
As long as there is love
