We grew the you and I of us like the lily fragrant and short our time but a fragment I could have held a fallen pearl of dew in the cusp of my palm lines for longer than your mouth fell under my eyes from spilt words sundered glance we watched the wilt now you are not the treasure of my vision I am blind you said heroes move out from castles and gardens chase the dragon so any moist wind I fight it is only the breath of a beast behind the lilies rise in the waters rendering you I am but a fragment how does an air wisp raise a sword? |

Severn You conjure up phrases from your brilliant mind that throw perfect images into mine. And I am stunned. Superb writing, as I expected Liz |

Girlie! Girlie, girlie...You are amazing! This poem is heartbreaking and wistful, and just simply wonderful (of course, you wrote it!). I love your formatting, it lends so much to this piece...makes for a perfect read a'loud. Keep it up, my friend! Wow! Love that last line... It seems impossible but you know there has to be a way, deep down. This was soft and beautiful, Severn. Loved it. Michael |

Little One~ This is sheer beauty. Your mind works in light that brings your words to life. The formatting is exquisite and feathers the piece. Wonderful, Kammie. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Beautiful, Kamla. From the title, I was afraid it was about that thing growing on my neck but I'm happy to see it was another wonderful poem from your ever-filled pen! |

Another intricate navigation around the poles of time and memory, love and dissapointment. Any criticism I might have of the particulars is silenced by the total effect. A wonderfully evocative piece. Thank you. R.T |
