All by myself Can I get into your eyes and into your heart? If you glanced at me would feelings start? Cause thats what happened to me. My eyes glanced your way. My heart said keep looking don't look away. Have you cast a spell on me? Cause now I like you. Do you like me? I really want to tell you how I now feel. How about you? Is this for real or only a chance. Can you encourage me in anyway? I would love a sultry glance cast my way. Please reveal the way you feel in some small way. Will you stop keeping your feelings all to yourself!!! or is this only another opportunity for me to fall in love all by myself. Jameslee@forAnnFebruary10,2000 |

Well I guess there is only one way to find out. How about giving the poem to her on Valentines Day and see what happens. You never know until you ask. Your poem is so well done, very well The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |

I loved the last 2 lines in this,but the whole poem really conveys your feelings,well done. |

Don't fall by yourself hun...tis a pretty rough one!!! I agree with Helmut...give this to her...only then will you know you've done your part!!! And good luck!!! Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

Thank you Helmut and that sounds like a good idea. I may take Ann to lunch tomorrow or if not than on Sunday soooooo I will probably give her the poem on Sunday or Monday. I have written 5 poems for Ann and already given her three so maybe I'll give her number 4 tomorrow and "All by myself" on Sunday or Monday. Thank you Rosalind and that is true if she is willing to spend more time with me than I will ask many of these questions. Thank you fool for your nice comments. I believe that is a consistant fear of mine to fall in love all by myself. Thanks devina, yes, me and ann will probably go out to lunch tomorrow. We went to "Scream 3" on Sunday and she loved it. Marge it gives me happiness when you say such nice things about my writing and I also appreciate your open and soft heart. James |
