The wind calls your name
The birds sing your song
I'll never be the same
Now that you've gone

The taste of your lips
The warmth of your touch
Back to those moments I slip
longing for them so much

The sound of your voice
Still rings in my ears
You made me rejoice
You dried all my tears

You taught me to love
You showed me the way
A gift from above
I'll treasure each day

Good night sweet one
With your memory I sleep
our time together is done
You were never mine to keep

 Butterflies don't cry
Are they more blessed than I?

I find that a very courageous thing to admit
Beautiful!

Hi Butterflies_Dont_Cry, I shall restrain my comments this time. I don't want you changing colour again...lol. This is really good though, I like it very much, I think we could all relate to the longing for  memories such as these.

ButterfliesDC~
How sweetly this flows from your heart.
You are getting better and better at
letting go of the feelings ... and that is a good thing.
They fall upon the page with beauty.
