Being home is a safe feeling, Warm and cozy inside Like hot chocolate on a cold day Fits like a glove. It's like that old T-shirt Worn, just beyond perfection So comfortable you could wear it Forever and ever. Snuggling in front of a fire Laughter and tears Good times and bad Where your heart is safe Where time stands still. There as you grow Constant and true Memories and dreams Hopes and wishes come true [This message has been edited by Stacieness (edited 03-16-2000).] |

Well other than fact you can write free verse, I'd say you have your Mom's gift for words. (*wink*@Nan) This was a great read, I too love home. Welcome Stacie. ~X~ |

Hey, Miss StaciNESS! This poem brings me happiNESS! Makes ya wanna settle down with a big glass of not NESStle's Quick, y'know? And cuddle up with the blanky out of the wilderNESS of life! I like these lines best: "Good Thymes and bad" and "Where Thyme stands still". Obviously, you've inherited some of mom's artistic talents! Welcome to Passions!JT. Just me. Recent escapee. |

The simplicity of home is beautiful and something that can never be replaced. My favorite thought in this poem is that your heart is always safe there. That, to me, is very true. Welcome. It is wonderful to "meet" you. I can see you and your mother are both very blessed. *Jenn* |

Stacie, welcome to passions! We've seen the talent that runs in your family with Nan's work and your grandmother's work. Nice to finally read something from you. (don't mind wayoutwalt, he's just drooling!).... I look forward to reading more from you!!! Please check your email for a special welcome! Hey CBK #1...(cute blonde kid #1) Nice to see you think home is a good place... Was it home that was good, or the old T-shirt full of holes?? Your home is good, too... What time is dinner? I want my corned beef & cabbage... It's Shamrock Day |
