My favorite Book You're a book of great breadth of longevity, of much pages, and depth of a cover so cherishable and fair With contents of love and care open there before my charmed eyes a work and peice that tell no lies of binding so true and fine of a quality strong spine your words are pearls of eloquence in every streaming sentence Passionate, faithful and respectable to the very last syllable It's hard to fathom your deepest part but worth trying from the very start to penetrate into your deepest plot your deepest theme, your deepest thought As a beautiful world in yourself you are my favorite one off the shelf I will never be finished with you always my language, always so true New Intrigues with new chapters Mysteries, passions, adventures Never will I put you down, nor away Between your pages my love shall stay < !signature--> "...no single sound too rude Upon thy slumber shall intrude, Our thoughts, our souls- O God above! In every deed shall mingle, love." --Edgar Allan Poe (from Serenade) [This message has been edited by Poeminister (edited 03-17-2000).] |
