Mother Earth show my worth Hold me in your embrace And crush me under the weight Of your love, my fate I need to know if I lived in vain For what else is there? But to allow myself to die this way And return forlorn to the air Long have I lived like this, Eternal, the state I am in My suffocation is my bliss This knowledge is my sin I need only to lie on your ground And let you wrap me up In wind with arms all around Until I choose to give up Oh Mother, please come and smother Take me, your long lost other And crush me under the weight Of love that feels like hate |
