What Happened to Us? We have known each other for so long Can you remember our favorite song? Two teenage girls filled with dreams Our friendships parted so it seems. Remember down by the railroad tracks That Boones Farm wine we tried to crack Upon that rock around the bend Our friendship we said would never end. Growing up and through the years We shared our laughter and our tears Our husbands left, we felt all alone So we would call each other and talk on the phone. Remember our words “we will always be strong” “friends till the end, we will do no wrong”. You asked my opinion what could I say Funny how words got into the way Have you been to busy to return my calls Friendship so bruised because I had balls To tell you I thought you made a mistake But I still Love you, for Christ sake. I made my bad judgments, I have made quite a few But I never got angry or ignored you. So I’ll send you this poem in hope to mend Our relationship that will never end I miss you and need you, Love Always your Friend. |

Thank-you for your inspirations. I have been friends with this person for almost 20 years. I know in my heart our frindship is still there. JML- been real busy at work-that is why there are no post- I sneak in here once and while and read. Thanks for caring Your bud, kitkat |
