Life's Agony Harkening pain of agony Why do you torture me? Why can't I live happily? Why don't you leave me be? I float on a sea of emptiness. I feel only the hollow kiss Of joy I've never known or felt. My soul's a vacant abyss. I've searched for purpose and meaning, For truth and understanding. But in my journey I've found nothing But betrayl and injustice prevailing. |
