Running from Cupid.... |

My sense of judgment is not always the best When putting my heart through another test When it comes to the field of romance It's time I took notice and took a stance! Two times hit by Cupid has really done me in Made me more cautious of every sexy grin Given me radars when slackers come to call Put me on my guard against one and all! Ain't going to be seduced by a pair of tight jeans He'd better tell the truth and say just what he means No blue-eyed bedroom demon shall hypnotize My innocent heart with sweet nothing lies I'll see through the charm of the muscled hunk Won't waste my time and put up with his junk Can't be persuaded to let him get very far Just because he drives a new shiny sports car The next time Cupid thinks I need some man in my life I hope he remembers I've already been someone's wife! I'll be more cautious of little men who have wings Cause when you get hit you lose all track of things! So when Cupid comes calling and aiming his bow I'll be sure to hide and tell him definitely NO! I think that I'll handle it without help from above The next time that I fall, it will be simply for love [This message has been edited by Deb Lynne (edited 03-13-2000).] |

Instead of running from cupid...next time grab that bow and put him on the other end of the point!! I love the rhyme! |

Very well written...such a beautiful flow..I loved "no blue eyed bedroom demon shall hypnotize.. my innocent heart with sweet nothing lies." So cool. How about brown eyed guys? (laugh) James |

D...any words from you make me feel special! infinat3....my barriers didn't last long. Which leads me to answer James...I was cursed to fall for a such of brown eyes with long, smoltering black eye lashes. He's still working on me! Thank you Martie & Shelley! |
