Unicorn Under the shedding moonlight soft skin silvery white of a gentle galloping Unicorn adorning a gleaming horn Her hoofs crush into the earth in her escapade of mirth as through vistas and glades her enthusiusm pervades She streaks like ray of light, an arrow through the night and then stops at the river to replenish her vigor Poeminister "From inaccessible mountain range by way of desert untrod by human foot to the ends of the unknown seas, the breath of the everlasting creative spirit is felt, rejoicing over every speck of dust that hearkens to it and lives."--Goethe |

Exellent work! I've always loved unicorns...if you know the soul of a unicorn, you know mine. Here's a poem I wrote about a unicorn a while back. The Last Unicorn Soft tendrils of a silver mane, Brilliant blue eyes, glistening like rain. A touch of the softest of white, A wonderous coat, shining so bright. A spiraling horn, entwined with gold, A gentle being that shall never grow old. She prances within a moonlit glade, Then among the tiny sprites she lay. The purest of souls this being owns, Always understands, never condones. A heart so gentle, a love so strong, She is one who will never go wrong. A creature of hope, a hevenly sight, This beast, this pure being of light. She is the one with the golden horn, She is the very last unicorn. *Krista Knutson* I do this so this world will know that it will not change me....-GB |
