The body of a woman The soul of a child The heart of a human The will of something wild Alone with my thoughts my mind tends to roam to all the lessons I was taught and about a place called home I think about a time when I was small walking a think line and having no one to call There were highs and there were lows the desprate cries all of lifes blows There were cries in the night that no one heard The scars out of sight Wishing for the wings of a bird The memories haunting tearing me from within The voices taunting To release would be sin In the body of a woman all locked up tight feelings of being inhuman screaming silently in the night Butterflies don't cry Are they more blessed than I? |

ButterfliesDC~ Butterflies must cry ... for I heard and felt the tears in this. *HUGS* to the woman in the body and the soul of the child. Love to you ... ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

I think we have all felt this way from time to time...like a child, frightened and alone. You've portrayed that feeling well with this one |

There were cries in the night that no one heard The scars out of sight Wishing for the wings of a bird The memories haunting tearing me from within The voices taunting To release would be sin In the body of a woman all locked up tight feelings of being inhuman screaming silently in the night. ------------- this touches me butterfly... so sad but emotionally perfect...its perfectly "human" to feel this way when you've been hurt... i know you find the healing i do in your writing... take care, jm Now for me some words come easy But I know that they don't mean that much Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch You never knew what I loved in you I don't know what you loved in me Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be jackson browne |

This is truly moving.....Saddness There are two kinds of pedestrians...the quick and the dead. Drive it like you stole it. |

***Butterflies, Another great pice from you. I felt your pain via your poignant and amazingly crafted words. You ay that writing helps you? Keep going because it helps alot of other people too. I am not a preacher, I just speak the world as I see it. |

Mete, Thank you for reading, and yes although it would seem that reliving pain would hurt...sometimes it hurts to heal. Suthern, Thank you |
