A glance, a touch are planted seed
Warm words abundant rain a shower
Upon heart’s soil quenching need
Beneath love’s brightly glowing power.

Thoughts dancing lightly through the mind
Elusive butterflies aflutter
They each impart their special kind
Of joy, distinct one from the other.

In gardens rife with opulence
Alighting gently on its flowers
They speak each one a circumstance
In time, dew-kist and fragrant hours.

Nostalgia gardens’ vibrant hues
Arrayed in all love’s finest splendor
Within the soul ‘though time ensues
More lovely grow – and so forever.

And slight is the sting of his trouble
Whose winnings are less than his worth;
For he who is honest is noble,
Whatever his fortunes or birth.~~~Alice Cary, ~Nobility~

Denise~

This is as pretty a bouquet as one
could hope to find in any garden.
I feel like FTD just delivered.

Beautiful! You are the white rose in the middle of a garden of red!
