A swirling mist, the dew is forming On the grass and leaves, of the mid-summer morning The brilliant morning sun, burns the cold fog away Such is the beauty, of this warm summer day I throw back the shades, to let in the light It dispels the darkness, the chill of the night A breeze passes thru, from across the lake More perfect a morning, could nature not make Outside I step, to breathe the fresh air I float on siken steps, unburdened by care I turn my head upwards, and don't even try To shade my eyes, from the beauty of the sky |

"I throw back the shades".....Aaahhh. Was that YOU I saw standing in your window naked? hehehe (I live on the other side of your lake ya know!) Best wear clothes from now on, if you're gonna be doing that! Seriously now, this poem was a breath of fresh air, and I can relate so well to doing this myself! Nothing like cool crisp air off of the lake. I liked the rhythm in this...flowed nicely when read. |

Beautiful! Sounds like a beautiful place to be! Much better than the city I'm sure! Denise |
