A swirling mist, the dew is forming On the grass and leaves, of the mid-summer morning The brilliant morning sun, burns the cold fog away Such is the beauty, of this warm summer day I throw back the shades, to let in the light It dispels the darkness, the chill of the night A breeze passes thru, from across the lake More perfect a morning, could nature not make Outside I step, to breathe the fresh air I float on siken steps, unburdened by care I turn my head upwards, and don't even try To shade my eyes, from the beauty of the sky |

"I throw back the shades".....Aaahhh. Was that YOU I saw standing in your window naked? hehehe (I live on the other side of your lake ya know!) ![]() Seriously now, this poem was a breath of fresh air, and I can relate so well to doing this myself! Nothing like cool crisp air off of the lake. I liked the rhythm in this...flowed nicely when read. |

Beautiful! Sounds like a beautiful place to be! Much better than the city I'm sure! Denise |
