All that I have has been offered to you
My body lifted up, presented to you
Sacrifices, none too great to perform
My offerings, in this way, will not harm
Wrap myself in robes of white shimmering
Underneath star filled sky glimmering
Wreaths of holly planted upon my head
To remain after robes of white I shed
Bleeding sweat for every drop that I bled
And standing grey as stone with arms outspread

Encircled before flames consume me whole
Transfixed, sacrificed to a higher goal
I come and lay my body down by you
For salvation, nothing I would not do

Beautiful!, I would love for a man to want to sacrifice anything for me, it makes a person feel special to know that someone cares that much. I really enjoyed reading this.

Geesh Louise!  Talk about being dedicated to a relationship!  You are!     I love this whole setting you used here...encircled by flames, the offering, and all....very enchanting - and dark.  Shall I say, *manly*.... LOL

Mystery - Thanks. But of course such a man (or woman) doesnt exist. Or do they...?

Femme - Yes, you can say 'manly'.

Diana B. - Thank you.

its even better at this hour...(smile)
stalking you intensly...
your jm

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch
You never knew what I loved in you
I don't know what you loved in me
Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be
