I want to first thank you for making me feel safe to expose my soul and not be afraid of who I am. THE PAIN OF PERFECTION I awake to the sunshine and a soft blowing breeze The day is all mine to do as I please Another perfect day The first of many To got out and play of these there are plenty The sun on my face The wind at my back It's not a race I don't have to keep track I walk and I hum as I move along Smiling to some feeling like I belong We watch the sunset On a beach of white sand This place where we met tonight as we planned Good night my sweet you whisper to me Tomorrow we'll meet again by the sea As we part for the night you come close to me what a lovely site as I look up at thee As I drift off to sleep I still feel your kiss The memory I'll keep knowing tomorrow will be like this I awake to rain Things aren't what they seem I remember the pain It was all a dream |

We must be drinking the same soda, cause I've had this exact same dream! ARGH....Kind of scarey to say the least....(shivering) LOL Seriously, this hits home in a way I don't care to remember...I have learned to keep my feet on the ground, and my head out of the clouds! It's much safer that way. You don't have to worry about someone taking your love, and mocking it, as they throw it to the wind! hehe Yeah, it's dreams like these, that usually turn into nightmares before you wake up!!! ROFLMAO in fright....  Fabulous poem nonetheless! You described it perfectly!!! |
