Dinks My friends are Double incomed and No kids Proud not to have any They dote over puppies And antiques as old As their attitudes have become She looks like a kid My kid sister Though we had different parents My kid sister nonetheless The scar on her neck Unnoticeable an hour after Hallway hugs and She looks so good To have beaten the cancer That ate her Better than she ever had And the hosts I hugged the former Hip twister harder Than my own brother But they dink And dink And write flowery words For Border's afternoons To read and Pat pat It's good I know But it dinks Dinking jaws drop As I tell them I am Divorcing Too un-republican I know It dinks, not more Suprising than That I ever got married though They dink at me And the other one The user Didn't show Until lunch the next day Disconnected We connected In our disconnection He looks used up But the same Disconnected from ex From son From the universe Disconnected Like me It dinks Hate is a dead thing. Who of you would be a tomb? -Kahlil Gibran |

***Rebel, This poem is great. Cast aside societies stupidities and live YOUR life, not THEIRS. I welcome your words with an open mind....fantastic. I am not a preacher, I just speak the world as I see it. |
