DEATH OF A LOVED ONE. There are no deeds..no words to say.. to ease the pain you feel today.. The wound is fresh...and new and deep... and cuts into your flesh.. This burning searing pain you feel is all to real, for I too have known it's depth.. With each new day as dawn returns with each new falling raindrop... the edges of the wound begin to close.. and as the edges close... they encase your loved one forever in your heart For although right now we feel we've lost them.. they will be ours forever.. And one bright day you too will enjoy the treasured memories locked away for safekeeping.......nona |

You have written beautifully about the grief we feel when we lose a loved one and the comfort we will find in the memories. James |

Nona~ To our Passion's family, I say This touched my heart. Still waiting for the 'edges' to close on the loss of my sister. Your words give me comfort. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Welcome to Passions Your poem is well done although it deals with a sad matter. My thoughts are with you. The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |
