Blame it on the Tequila |

When my tongue gets loose The accusations fly. Tears shed forth and vile words Spew from my mouth. My soul is ripped apart; I fall to my knees Heedless of the strangers' stares. Jose has got a hold of me Controlling my thoughts, actions, words. I scream and curse your name Between declarations of undying love. I tear at my hair, pound my fists; Trying to get you to see The madness and confusion Raging inside my head. You retreat, you Coward! Unable to face my raw emotions. Tomorrow will come with no regrets. I can blame it on the tequila. Can you? [This message has been edited by sonjes (edited 03-01-2000).] |

Tequila is to killya. That stuff can make even the kindest person turn evil and do and say some mean things that ya can`t remember the next day. Nice poem sonjes. Thank you for the read |

Oops! I can't type today. It is supposed to be "Blame" of course. Silly me! Yes, tequila will always do it. Thanks, SEA, and maybe someday you will. RuffRyder- what doesn't "kill us" will make us stronger, I hope. Devina- Maybe Jose is not such a good friend after all and I do need to find a new drinking partner. Better yet, lay off the bad stuff. |

The title of this caught my eye, and then your words held me here. I like intense poetry, and I like this very much. Looking forward to reading more...Blame it on tequila? I have even blamed it on the moon. |

LOL well I drink the hard stuff...RASBERRY ICED TEA..lol..im a major lightweight LOL later gator Now for me some words come easy But I know that they don't mean that much Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch You never knew what I loved in you I don't know what you loved in me Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be... Jackson Browne *I miss you baby... I love you...always. |
