It is just this-- this thing i have-- it has been here all along... it is this thing, stands inbetween... it is the silence of my song. Urge is hunger-- deep in heart-- painful-beat-by-beat... it is surrender in your eyes that i have yet to see... it is the half-breath that i gasp at half-the-thought-of-you-- it's in your words-- all that i've heard-- all the wonder that i can have of you... It is the silence before the sound that endears it most profound... And all that i will hope of you. |
