It’s nice to live in a world Without a doubt That she is the girl I cannot live without As long as she needs me And changes never I’m thinking of her only And giving her forever Only she really knows My heart’s special place Where my thoughts sometimes go And can never be replaced Wherever she may run I know I’ll be there With her, the one Who’s life I share All she has to do is ask And I’ll fall upon my knees So she can remove this mask And the little pieces of me Tonight the lightning strikes And a new wind blows Bringing a certain calm she likes That only she will ever know |

Excellent poem, I love the part about removing the mask. It is true that only those we truly love can see us for who we truly are. I am not a poet, I am merely one who speaks in emotion |

I agree with Mistikman's comments. I would add that we show more of ourselves to those we truly love, because real love opens the heart and mind. Nice Poem! Danny |

So well said JML Did Jesus laugh? I think He did, 'cause He was once a little kid; and all of us were made with joy both sugar-spice girl and snake-snail boy! |
