Do you ever stop and think about- The things we used to do? When you were so in love with me, And I in love with you. The world was ripe for plucking And from nothing did we shrink- Those really were some glorious times Do you ever stop and think? Remember all the hard times? All those hours that I worked... Herding some man’s cattle- And my duties never shirked You’d have my supper waiting- When I came in after dark. Just digging through old memories Still fans to life a spark... A spark of love we used to have Which was a raging flame.. It’s now a bed of ashes... I don’t know just who’s to blame. It really dosen’t matter though- These partings really stink... I believe our love could still survive- Do you ever stop and think? Visit My Home Page http://www.geocities.com/montcogunslinger/HomePage.html |

Some things are worth some serious thought, aren't they? Wonderful, touching poem... Denise And slight is the sting of his trouble Whose winnings are less than his worth; For he who is honest is noble, Whatever his fortunes or birth.~~~Alice Cary, ~Nobility~ |

Enjoyed this, Gunslinger. Your work always gives one pause. Seems many of us spend much time in reflection. *As always, impeccable sense of rhythm and rune. Claire |

I really love this, makes me realize that we all should stop and think sometimes. Thanks for the thought of it! |
