TO MY KINDRED

In my dreams I hear you say
"Come my kindred heart, take me away. . . "
But sadly dear one, it is not my place
It will be another who brings joy to your face.

My soul you have touched, my heart you do know
You're given me the strength to let my love show
But I cannot be the one to love you in this life
Although I do truly love you, and will all my life.

I do know your thoughts as you know mine
A love like ours would quite surely shine.
Blessed by God and envied by man,
But it's just not part of the plan.

I will be the one who saves you, that is my call
For I am sent from above after all.
Kindred of spirit and kindred of heart
Now that we're together, we will never part.

Though we are seperated by time and by tide
Our love can be felt across the ocean wide
We are growing together each and every day
And I'm so glad that I can tell you in this special
    way.

My love I send to you my kindred soul
The one who heals me and makes me feel whole
Forever in my dreams we'll always be
Sharing this moment together. . . you and me

That which gives light must endure burning

Sven,
There is that same theme coming back into your poetry.
This is lovely, what a longing heart you have

What can I say?  It's beautiful and sad, sad for you and for her...

Man, this is so sad and so beautiful too, Sven.  To know your kindred soul and have to live without, I could not imagine how hard that must be, and yet so much caring poured forth in this work.  Wonderfully done.

I came for a second reading my kindred.  This means the world to me my heart. Thankyou.  Our souls will always be together.
