     Getting dumped
I never did like my boyfriend
He dropped out of school at sixteen
Wanted to be with his boys which was fine with me
I was cheating on him anyways
Even though he was cheating on me
We always said we love each other
although love is just a word
I guess it didn't mean anything
Cause we never spoke again
He got his friend to do his dirty work
Why couldn't he tell me hiself
Was it true that he never wanted me
Did I waste me time
I'll never know the truth
or if it was all a lie

Sounds like your relationship wasn't a good one for both of you.  You were obviously lying as much as he was, going around with other guys.  Maybe it is better that it ended for you, now you can look for someone to whom the word love is not just a word but a feeling.  Don't give up on love, it is out there, you just have to be patient.

I understand that your pride was hurt when he didn't end it himself, but was the relationship really worth it in the first place?  Instead of greiving, I say find yourself, dear, then find someone to love solo.  And Deborah is right when she says that true love is out there, keep looking!
