~Awaken~

I know
slow
risings

fragile things
dreams perhaps
                        or feathered ripples

simple returns
and wishes
a sigh
          or two

not above me
      no
they soft
slowly

rustle me
unrevealing
of their frame

dare I

allow them near?

Turn whispery thread
of mystery

into tangibility

…I know not…

should I move
around them
just

                  shadowed

unseeing
safely

or…

awaken

           …awaken…

I love the way you formatted this!  It adds so much to the poem.  Oh yes, and the poem itself is really quite superb too.

Keep writing, I'll keep reading!

Then I'll be drinking from the saucer 'cause my cup has overflowed.

Oh, this is so lovely Kamla.  So few words and so much beauty expressed.

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

Oh wow, this one gave me chills.  That impulsive side in me is screaming AWAKEN... but I fully know the flip side of that dilema as well.  Your imagery astounds me at times, wonderful work.

I think I would like to see your eyes. Bt that and your poetry...it would be an amazing discovery. Great work!
