Escorting me in my travels this guardian of great will alert as the road unravels scribe of an unseen quill Channeling coming clear epistle of quiet bearing waving the atmosphere carrying songs of caring It is almost an intrusion of the benevolent kind one might say an illusion invention perchance of mind Fog enshrouded highways Spirit on my shoulder suggesting other byways each day becoming bolder Yes, I hear your messages Silken words transcending And through life’s passages Your love, never ending © 2000 Corinne Bailey |
