In and out of the corridors that
link my thoughts and emotions
smiling face belies the turmoil
surfing waves of a swelling ocean

Up with the thrill
down with a deep breath
hanging on in between
chasing life and living death

Warm sand beneath my toes
sun caressing my skin
eyes mirror lapping water
sounds resembling a violin

Such beauty resides within us
it's how we look and feel life
green eyes sparkle with pleasure
tomorrow may bring - unknown treasure..

Don't ask me where I'm going, just listen when I'm gone and far away you'll hear me singing softly to the dawn.

RG, this is lovely, true we don't know what tomorrow brings, and I think the simplest things are a treasure

We never know what tomorrow might bring
But whatever the future, your soul will sing
With the spirit of love that you so kindly share
No matter what it is you have to bear.
A rainbow of hope, painting the skies...
A feast of beauty for our loving eyes...
A caring heart that erases the miles
To give big hugs and distribute smiles.
May your green eyes always sparkle with pleasure
For you, my dear friend, are always a treasure!

I echo 'Deer - you are a treasure for all days.  So loving and full of hope.

Belle

I love your poem to Cindy - that is one of the sweetest poems I've seen you write.
