In Her Garden Cool by ©Richard Budig 2000 She daily walked with Jesus, held His hand in her garden cool, and conversed with Him in passioned tones of the seduced. Take him, Jesus, she prayed, take him to Your home, for daily, he flies his little plane through Your mansion halls. Such an easy matter for You, such ugly trouble for me. But flight after flight, for reasons unknown her dashing pilot flew his little plane home, and regaled her with stories of infinity, and how pilots touch the face of God, upon which, she sought her private bed where she prayed longly and bitterly, Jesus, O Jesus, why have you forsaken me? |

Ah ha. I think I am beginning to understand. Your poems are beautifully biting. I like that. Truth is frequently unkind, and often not beautiful. I like your courage too. Chris |

Broker, the emotion in this one is intensifying. Great job with this one! ~*~ ^i^ ~*~ Love is such a lonely art, and death is but a taste. Minds are merely instruments that often go to waste! ~*~ ^i^ ~*~ |
