Grandma, why can't you be here- I need you so much now. I need someone to talk to- Someone who knows me inside out. I miss your loving smile, And your petite little hugs. I miss all your advice, It always meant so much. To know you're far away, Still kills me inside. I can hardly hear your voice, Without trying not cry. I know you're needed there, And because your hearts so big, You're sacrificing happiness- For those who are in need. Just remember I am here, To love you as you are, No judgement in my eyes, I love you most by far. Remember you have your own needs too, Take care and remember how much I miss you. |

Very nice thoughts shared in this poem Death of a loved one is something that brings things to light that sometime we missed before I have learned that the pain of a lost love will fade, But the memory of having love will last forever. |

This is beautiful Devina! ~*~ Hell is not a place of fire and a devil with a tail and horns. But a place of torment because the light of God is gone. To escape this, accept the blood of Jesus Christ! ~*~ |

Grandma's are soooo special - I'm fortunate to have one who's 96 now.... and I just recently lost the other at 93... I see that as a blessing.... |

devina.. I have lost all my grandparents and both parents, but the sweetest thing is... they are not gone. They live in my heart. Beautiful poem. I feel your love in every word. B Gravitt |

There is perhaps nothing in life more pure than the love between grandparent and grandchild. She is proud, no doubt. How much more grievous are the consequences of anger than the causes of it. -Marcus Aurelius |

All of your comments mean so much...I want to thank you all, but also let you know the real meaning of the poem. This poem may have given the wrong impression to some, but my grandmother moved to Indiana to take care of her parents who are sick. I still live in California and miss her very deeply. Your thoughts are all so touching, and thank you again!!! |
