Millennium Prayer Why must I write, I ask While other mortals celebrate Is poetry so important That I can’t take one break Do I forgo friendships For a computer here at night Somehow, this doesn’t quite compute Doesn’t really seem right So in the new millennium I promise I will be Less visible on the computer More into my poetry! |
