In my dark and blackened husk where light is lost to fastened dusk I ponder my sad and lonely fate I have this navel to contemplate a secret stirs so hidden and deep a door ajar from semi sleep the light floods in my head it spins the curtains drawn the show begins I boast a new and vibrant coat I catch a breeze and onward float I shiver through a misty cloud and delight at gifts of flight endowed tumbledown to a splash of flowers then succumb to nectars powers while I sip from the honeyed cusp I gather a sheen of pollen dust a petal here,a petal there love carried on lifting giving air as night settles neath my virgin moon I still my wings as flowers swoon I dream of flowers and lush green fields a promised tomorrow and what it yields hello darkness my old friend |

Beautiful imagery! Took me a minute to figure out what this was about but when I did, it made me smile. Cute! |

Patrick- Took me just a fraction longer to figure this out, but Bee that as it may, wonderful images you did portray. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
